This gave the vibe of Mean Girls meets Interview with A Vampire, but yet, had a very dreamlike feel to it. I kept waiting for a scene with Imogen waking up from a dream.The writing wasn't bad, but the plot seemed to fall flat. I can't be 100% positive I'll be reading any more work by Ms. Myers again.

'Licked by a Vampire' was a good quick read. The storyline was different. Imogen seems like a woman with a heart that's full of pure love. Her passion is true, whether it be for poetry or the hope of being loved by the one she loves. Cerise shows her a different aspect, one that shows Imogen what Cerise sees. A good short love story.
There was too much story forced in too short of a space. The writing was good, but the scenes all felt rushed, like the author was hurrying to finish the story in 10k words. The dynamics between the characters deserved to have been explored deeper. I would have enjoyed 10,000 words just on the explanation Cassadra's social tormenting of Imogen and what exactly it was causing Imogen to feel, rather than the paragraph or two we were given. Also Cerise and Imogen's initial meeting went way to fast for me to drawn into what was happening.
Oh yeah, and why was Cassandra carrying that in her purse!? Given her social standing and public persona it would seem like a massive risk to be traipsing around with something that could expose her facade. I could imagine she might have planned it, but as the scenario was presented I found it incongruous.

This story was short but amazing, I really like the plot it was fantastic. The main characters described with a lot of details. The story is very romantic and full of surprises! I had a funny afternoon I really enjoyed! Good work!
